About Trevelin Anglers
Trevelin Anglers is a newly established fly fishing lodge in Trevelin, Chubut, Patagonia Argentina, founded by experienced fly fishing guides Pablo Manavella and Rodrigo Tejeda, each with over 20 years of professional guiding expertise.
Our lodge accommodates up to 12 anglers across six comfortable double rooms, creating an intimate and personalized experience. We have meticulously designed our facilities to provide world-class comfort and a welcoming “feel at home” environment, featuring an outdoor recreation deck, a fireplace, dining areas, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel at home. Pablo Manavella is one of the founders and lead guides at Trevelin Anglers. With over 20 years of professional experience in fly fishing across Patagonia Argentina and Montana USA. Pablo has dedicated his life to exploring and sharing the region’s most remarkable rivers, lakes, and streams. His deep knowledge of the local waters, combined with a genuine passion for sport fishing and nature, makes him an outstanding host for anglers of all levels.
Pablo is known for his warm hospitality, patience, and ability to tailor each fishing day to the expectations and skill level of every guest. What is included in the all-inclusive package?
Our all-inclusive packages include seven nights of accommodation, six full days of guided fly fishing, all meals and beverages, fishing equipment (rods, lines, flies), waders and boots if needed, and ground transportation to fishing locations. Excluded items are flights, fishing licenses, and gratuities for guides and staff.
What fish species can I catch with Trevelin Anglers?
You can fish for brown trout, rainbow trout, and brook trout. Our waters are home to healthy populations of these species, with excellent opportunities for both dry fly and nymph fishing depending on the season.
When is the best time to visit?
Our main fishing season runs from November 1 to May 1. November-December offers high activity with dragonfly hatches toward to December , January-February provides excellent dry fly fishing with good weather, and March-April features shorter days, but great opportunities for small dry flies and great shape fish. Some rivers and lakes remain open year-round for fishing.
Do I need fly fishing experience?
No experience is necessary. We offer personalized fly fishing instruction for all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced anglers. Classes are available upon arrival or integrated into your daily fishing trips with our expert guides.
What waters will I fish?
We have access to world-renowned rivers including Futaleufú (a.k.a Grande), Arrayanes, Rivadavia, Corintos, and Nant y Fall, plus pristine lakes such as Rivadavia, Verde, Futalaufquen, Kruger, Laguna Larga and more! We also fish small creeks both in the Andean forest and in the steppe and reservoirs including Amutuy Quimey.
How many guests can the lodge accommodate?
Trevelin Anglers accommodates up to 12 anglers across six comfortable double rooms. This intimate size ensures personalized service and optimal guide-to-angler ratios for the best fishing experience.
What is the typical length of stay?
Our standard package is 7 nights with 6 full days of guided fly fishing. This duration allows you to experience multiple fishing locations and adapt to varying weather conditions.
We also offer the possibility of different length of stays, just contact us with your desired dates.
Are group bookings available?
Yes, we welcome group bookings. We work with outfitters and travel agents to arrange group expeditions. Contact us to discuss custom group packages and special arrangements.
What should I bring?
We provide fishing equipment, waders, and boots. We recommend bringing comfortable clothing suitable for variable Patagonian weather, personal medications, sunscreen, and any personal fly fishing preferences. A detailed packing list will be provided upon booking.
